Coming by Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport (FKB):
Depending on where you are coming from, it may consider transiting via the Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport (FKB), located 30 kilometers north-east of Strasbourg. Ryanair offers flights from London-Stansted, Dublin, Rome-Ciampino, Barcelona-Girona, Stockholm-Skavsta, Valencia and Alicante.
There is no frequent shuttle service between FKB and Strasbourg: only the company Eberhardt-Reisen has a Ryanair-Shuttle connecting Baden-Airpark and Strasbourg. But it is often possible to make arrangements with fellow travelers. Taxis service is also available.

Other airport options:
Flying to Basel/Mulhouse airport leaves you some 100 km off target. Still, it is easy to reach Strasbourg from that airport by either taking a taxi to Mulhouse train station (15 min.); there are frequent trains to Strasbourg (1h). Total cost should amount to 20 + 13 = 33 Euros. Or, take a Basel city bus to Basel train station (15 min), and take a train to Strasbourg from there (1h30).
You may also consider flying to Zurich airport in Switzerland and travel from there to Strasbourg by TGV train.
Yet another option is to fly to Frankfurt airport and take the Lufthansa bus shuttle service to Strasbourg. Count an extra two hours travel in either case.
